I love living at Angelo Place! It’s been a fun experience and I truly believe that management has improved so much. The internet issues are finally fixed and working so well! I think that knowing and being friends with your roommates is essential but it helps that we each have our own personal space and bathroom. Maintenance is always on top of things and the managers are always looking for ways to spice up the community.

They are contracted with Lonestar Recovery to steal cars from poor college kids. Angelo place makes you pay extra to park in well lit/well maintained parking places. if you don't pay extra for this parking you have to park in the areas with no lighting, and super faded parking lines. So if you ever park at night, your car will be gone in the morning from Lonestar recovery patroling it all night. They give you no notice, and do not tell apartment management your car was towed. I found out my car was gone as I walked to where I parked to drive to work. We had to pay over $300 for double parking in a dark, empty parking lot. me and my girlfriend were both late to our jobs and reprimanded by our employers for this, as we share a vehicle. also when I called them asking why I was towed for "double parking" in an empty poorly lit parking lot the Lady on the phone just raised her voice and repeated how much it will cost me to get back my stolen vehicle. when my crying girlfriend called, just asking for the address and when she could come and pay to get the car back, the lady yelled at her too. I'm sure they make a lot of money with their partnership.

If you do not pay additional fees for parking, you are not allowed to park in well lit areas with solid painted parking lines. Of course you don't directly get a kickback for cars towed, that would be blatantly illegal in the state of Texas. You are being compensated by scaring your tenants into paying ridiculous extra fees to park in well lit areas with freshly painted parking lines. That is why you are also fine with the towing company you contracted towing cars IN AN EMPTY PARKING LOT with their tire 1 inch over the parking line. The towing company also DOES NOT ALLOW you to receive the picture of how your car was parked when it was towed. You are only allowed to see this pictures in person, at their towing office.

The dark photo where you see nothing is the parking you don't have to pay extra for, that you get your car towed from. Please tell me where the parking lines are in that photo.

The well lit photo where you can clearly see the freshly painted parking lines is what you have to pay extra for. Please try to tell me this is not intentional. Nobody is dumb enough to believe that.

I have lived here for three years and the only time things get done around my apartment are when I walk down to the office and confront the employees or I impersonate them to get my neighbors to be quieter. It took 2 weeks for them to fix my smoke detector in my room, meaning if a fire somehow started I would be unaware of it. I called three times today alone to try and get them to come address a noise complaint and received no answer any time. The courtesy officer on call never picks up after hours and when he does, the situation regarding noise does not change. I am leaving here when my lease runs out, I would not advise living here, or if you do, don't be reliant on any of the workers they employ.

wish I could give less. awful, condescending and rude staff all around. will only help you once you’ve argued with them all day and taken it to higher management. did nothing but throw the entire common area fees on me because I happened to be the last to leave that month. had to house my sisters cat for a few days after her boyfriend DIED and was met with no sympathy and just a lease violation that made me unable to renew my lease. noise complaints NEVER answered. Paid for a lease violation for a noise complaint against me when I was not even home. Then was later informed when I made a noise complaint myself about my upstairs neighbors that that was the noise complaint someone stated about me but of course was not refunded or talked to. if you want to feel ostracized and bullied by your own management then feel free to move in. Was painted as the villain of my apartment and paid all of the fees because I decided to stop cleaning up after the pigs I lived with. 10/10 would never recommend this place.

So I just received a move out statement for $400 dollars from Angelo Place. I was charged with main living room charges when there are multiple people sharing the space. I did a lease takeover and when I arrived the room was in absolute SHAMBLES. The damages were accruded from a PREVIOUS tennant. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE TO ANGELO PLACE. The charges are absolutely ridiculous. They charged me $25 alone for a trash bag! What a rip off! There was literally MOLD in the shower when I moved in.

I'm definitely reporting this to BBB and the local news channel!

Be sure to do a final walk through with someone before you move out. You can not trust that you will be treated fairly. My daughter moved out, hired someone to clean the carpets. She cleaned and moved out. We were hit with a $275.00 bill that we knew nothing about until a debt collector reached out to me. Angelo Place claim they emailed my daughter and myself, and mailed a final bill. Neither of which made it to us.? These charges were ridiculous. Protect yourself, do a final walk through and make sure you have a solid understanding of what you will be paying for upon moving out.

IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: Your pictures do nothing for me at this point. My review is to protect the next person. If they do a walk through with an employee, they have concrete evidence of what Angelo Place will be charging for. They would have the opportunity to see what problems could be their and have the chance to dispute any claims. Nothing you say or do is going to right this situation. I have paid and moving forward but I will do what I can to protect the next person, especially the young people.

The price and the place definitely is a win. Of course living with people you know or strangers can either be a hit or miss, but free WiFi? Furnished? How can you not? I have friends who live in other apartments around San Angelo who talk about not being able to afford WiFi, or saying how much furniture cost. For my first place, this really sets the bar.

The staff that was working at the front were good, but maintenance never fixed anything that was broken (everything was always broken). I enjoyed living here, but everything was always damaged.
