Our time with Chef Federico was the highlight of our time in Tuscany. Federico came to our villa on 2 different occasions. We did a cooking class where we asked him to incorporate the kids. We had a delicious lunch of focaccia, 3 different kinds of pizza, risotto, and tiramisu. While the kids were able to actively participate, Federicos explanations were tailored so that we could actually recreate these dishes when we got home. Everyone from ages 5 to 70 enjoyed the class.

Chef Federico also did a special anniversary dinner for us and it was fabulous! He handled it all, from the table settings, to the wine pairing, to the clean up. He took our desire to create a custom menu, with dishes tailored to different members of our group, and created a menu that was extremely special and tasted fantastic! The dishes and wine pairings created for this dinner were possibly the best we had in our entire two weeks in Italy.

In addition to the fabulous food, he was very personable and we enjoyed getting to know him and learning about his family, career, and other regions of Italy. I highly recommend him and I guarantee your experience with him will be the highlight of your trip.

Wow! What an amazing experience ? Chef Federico came to our villa in Tuscany to cook a full three course meal (and dessert!) Having a private chef was the highlight of our trip! Probably our favorite dish was the walnut risotto—but it was all incredible, especially the beautiful plating ? We didn’t have to lift a finger: he showed up on time, set up everything including setting the table, brought his own dishes, and even cleaned the kitchen fully afterwards. And he left us with leftovers ? Would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality meal in your own villa!

Chef Federico is AMAZING. He came to the villa we were renting on two nights, and both were incredible. The first night was a hands-on cooking class; the pizza and focaccia had our teens totally engaged and the meal came together beautifully. He really knows how to draw everyone in while explaining the WHY behind his cooking, and Tuscan cuisine generally.

The second night was a full meal served resistant-style, and it was unquestionably the best meal we have had in Italy. It was like having a gourmet meal served right at your table by candlelight, and then all cleaned up while you finish the perfectly-paired wines.

Federico is a gifted, creative chef and also a wonderful person to talk with and learn from. Can’t recommend him highly enough!

Federico cooked at our wedding. Everything was perfect. Federico is a very nice man and his food is amazing. Communication with Federico was good. He prepared a menu for us, to which we could make adjustments ourselves. It was beautifully presented and accompanied by delicious wines. He also provided the wedding cake and it too was delicious.
Definitely highly recommended!
