Just got a new guitar for Christmas and signed up for in home music lessons with Cors Institute. I've known Pj before signing up, and have taken lessons from him before on and off, but now that I've finished college and moved back home I have more time to take lessons. He's really put together a nice new program. I just logged into the online library, and it's so cool to have access to transcriptions, music notes, extra exercises etc. The lessons come with a few more perks, but I'm particularly excited about this part. Pj is a dear friend of mine. I’ve taking lessoms from him on and off whenever my schedule permits. Definitely would recommend him for learning more about music in general. He’s brought a lot to the table when it comes to music theory and piano, and I love his teaching approach. I’ve had a few different teachers before, but he really brings it!

My son and I have been taking lessons with Pj for quite some time now. Best teacher I've ever had. He is able to feel out where I stand with the material he's teaching me, which is incredibly important. My son has grown from not being able to play the guitar at all, to comfortable sounding really really good. (And I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom). Over the course of our lessons we've gotten to know Pj pretty well and couldn't be more happier with our lessons. I've had teachers before that just showed up and did their part, but Pj goes above and beyond. He sometimes stays a little bit longer than the time I pay him for, just to make sure I properly understand the material. I love his approach because he is constantly pushing my musical limits, while at the same time teaching and showing me how I can process difficult music, break it down and learn/perform it properly. I now enjoy playing guitar. Before it was more furstration and not knowing what I was doing. We'll spend months and months on a certain song or specific guitar arrangement, but by the end of it, I actually know how to play it properly, and I know musically and theory wise what is happening in the song. I wish him the very best with expanding his teaching business and am convinced the Cors Institute will be an extension of his level of quality and fun. Good luck PJ!

I went to college with Pj. He’s a great educator. I met him through tutoring. He was tutoring asvanced music theory concepts to fellow students. I took a few tutoring lessons from him, which is how I met him. He has an amazing way of simplifying things and explaining musical concepts. Highly recommend him as an educator!

It’s been so much fun taking piano lessons. It’s something that’s been on my bucket list for a long time, to learn piano, and Pj has been a great teacher! I only take 30 minute lessons, but having that monthly theory lesson helps clear up some of the things I struggle with during our piano lesson. Thanks Pj!!!

Signed up my son for lessons a few months ago. He loves it! We get a complimentary music theory lesson as well every month which helps him understand everything much better.
