As Megan and I reflect on that enchanting evening exactly one year ago at Villa Fegotto, where we celebrated our wedding, it still feels like a beautiful dream. Had an amazing tour of Tuscany with Christian. He was an expert with history and the wine, and food, and took us through a full immersive experience with a tour of a vineyard making Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, followed by a tasters lunch atop a hill with the most amazing views and also enjoyed some free time in Pienza. Our Tuscan Wine tour with Viaggi d'Ambra was one of the highlights of our trip. Both Azzurra and Christian were very easy to work with and they did a great job of planning a custom tour specifically for our group. Even when we made a last minute change to add a winery to the tour, they quickly accommodated the request and adjusted our plans accordingly. Our tour day was with Christian and we had a blast spending the day getting to know him. He provided private tours at three boutique wineries that each had their own personality, making each of the three experiences unique. How best can someone describe meeting new family through booking ground transport in a foreign country? It is precisely what happened to ours after two weeks in the Tuscan countryside with Viaggi d’Ambra (“Amber Travels”). There are not enough stars to recommend highly enough Azzurra and Christian and their team of extraordinary professionals at this transportation company. Our family of 40 (yes, FORTY) booked a Tuscan countryside reunion in a beautiful villa between Florence and Siena for 2 weeks. Viaggi d’Ambra worked with us from the beginning to schedule airport transfers from 2 people to 20, special event tours, and even more amazingly, daily ground transport teams of 2 overlapping from 9 am – 5 pm and from 2 – 10 pm. This allowed for those of us who wanted our own freedom and rental cars to go do what we wanted and for those in our group who needed shuttling from here to there (grocery, train station, nearby Tuscan towns, wine tours, etc.,) to be taken wherever they needed to get to and be returned safely. The folks on our trip ranged in age from 3 years old to 82, and this team of professionals grew to know each one of us, and to anticipate our quirks, our concerns, our needs. By the end of the trip, we were asking our drivers and guides to join our fun – in pasta and pizza making, a special family birthday celebration and dinner, and then, of course, our last evening meal before departing. We will never forget Azzurra, Christian, Diego, and all the wonderful guides and drivers who took such good care of us – in a place many in our group had never been before. We trusted them immediately, and we will always stay in touch with our new Italian family members! You must call or email them if you need such services in Tuscany. They are the absolute BEST.

My wife, my son, my daughter and I went on a short 10 day tour of Rome, Vatican City, Florence and Venice. We would not have enjoyed it as much without the help of Viaggi d'Ambra. They made our trip flawless. I would recommend them immediately to anyone going to visit Italy. They asked what we wanted to do, and they scheduled our time perfectly. We also were given time to explore on our own as we requested. The tour guides were knowledgeable and fun to be with. They all recommended places to eat that were off the beaten path which also saved us money. No location was better than the other because they were all unique. Book them! You will not regret it!!!

Christian arranged a trip for our family of 5--one night in Rome and 9 days in Sicily. He arranged everything from transfers to pick-ups, hotels, drivers and guides. He even helped with suggestions and reservations for dinner. Christian made the trip easy and wonderful. Sight seeing, wine tasting and cooking pasta--sea side towns and beautiful ceramics and mosaics. Each guide and driver were wonderful and informative. Christian checked in with us and the guides/drivers every day so we did not even have to remember pick up times or places. We worked with Christian and Azzurra a few years ago when we toured Tuscany and they were wonderful. We would use Viaggi d'Ambra anytime we tour Italy.
